About Me

Hi, I’m Jen

Nestled in the heart of Pitt Meadows, BC, I pour my passion for creativity, sustainability, and childhood wonder into every item I craft. As the founder and maker behind Autumn Fraser, I’m committed to creating eco-friendly, durable, and open-ended play tools that inspire children to grow, play, and connect with the world around them.

Learning Through Play
From a young age, I knew I learned best by doing. I was the child who had to touch, explore, and manipulate objects to fully understand the world around me. We now know this as kinesthetic learning—a hands-on, physical approach to processing new information. This belief in learning by doing, combined with my deep love for nature, is at the heart of everything I create.

How It All Began
I started my business in 2021, sparked by a desire to create a moveable alphabet for my two children to play with at home. I was excited to put dried flowers and leaves from our garden into the letters themselves. I happened to have some bio-based resin leftover from a table project my husband and I had worked on, and the rest is history! What began as a simple idea quickly grew into a passion for designing open-ended learning tools that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and exploration.

Handcrafted with Purpose
Every puzzle, sensory play tool, and play tray I make is handcrafted in my home studio using Canadian-sourced bio-based resin. Inspired by the natural beauty around me, I design each piece to foster screen-free play and provide countless opportunities for imaginative learning.

From My Hands to Yours
I believe deeply that learning happens through play. My goal is to support families, grandparents, and educators in fostering children’s natural creativity with tools that grow alongside them. Whether it’s tracing letters, stamping shapes into kinetic sand, or creating tiny worlds with animals, rainbows or rocketships, my products are made to spark joy and connection while respecting the planet we call home.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your child’s journey. Together, we can create a future where learning is joyful, play is boundless, and sustainability is at the heart of it all.

Warmly,

Jen
