🌟 Easy Ways to Play & Connect:

🪞 "Show Me That Face"
Choose a feeling from the wheel — then use the mirror to make that face!
Try it together. Add a sound or a story.

“This is my excited face… we’re going to the park!”

💬 "How Do You Feel Today?"
Spin the wheel and let your child point to a feeling.

Ask: “What made you feel that way?”
Let them explain — or just sit with it. No pressure.

🌵 "Hold Your Calm"
If your child feels overwhelmed, offer the calm token.

“When I’m upset, I hold this and take 3 breaths. Want to try?”
→ The small size makes it great for backpacks or pockets.

🎭 "Name the Feeling" (for other people!)
Look at books, pets, or people in the park.

“What feeling do you think that person has right now?”
→ Builds empathy and observation skills.

🎲 "Feelings First" Story Starter
Pick a feeling from the wheel and invent a short story using that emotion.

“Once there was a turtle who was feeling frustrated…”

🧠 "Feelings Are Teachers"
Remind your child that every feeling gives us information.
Even “big” or tricky emotions are part of being human.
Use the wheel to talk about what those feelings might be telling us.

💬 A Note to Grownups:

This kit isn’t about “fixing” feelings — it’s about welcoming them.
You don’t need to solve everything. You just need to show up, name emotions when they show up, and help your child know they are safe and seen.

💡Try saying:

“It’s okay to feel like that.”
“I feel that way sometimes too.”
“I’m here.”

Emotional learning is lifelong. You’re doing a great job.
