This eight piece mini poppy sensory set is a great addition to your Fall sensory bins. In November, we remember and these little red & black poppies will help you do just that. You can feel good knowing that these are made with Canadian sourced, bio-based (not plastic based) resin and coloured with natural mica powders. 

This set pairs nicely with our large Poppy & Peace shape set. 

These sensory toys are built as tough and as beautiful as the little ones who will play with them. These open ended play materials have enldess play possibilities, but here are a few:

 

Math Literacy

Take turns rolling a dice. When the dice lands, as quickly as you can, grab that many poppies. Can you make pairs with the poppies? Does that mean that the number is even or odd? 

Sensory Fun

Pair these shiny poppies with fuzzy pipe cleaners, glossy glass gems and wooden beads to make your own field of poppies. 

Quick Thinking & Creativity

While kids enjoy the thrill of hiding and finding objects they are learning skills such as quick thinking and creativity. They also build gross motor skills practise reacting quickly and develop a concept of an objects position in space. 

There are many hide and seek variations, but why not try hiding the poppies beforehand, then tell kids to go find all the 8 red poppies hidden in the appointed section of forest, classroom or playroom.

Materials

All of our products are sustainably made with bio-based, not plastic based resin sourced from a Canadian grain farming family out of Manitoba. Each set has slightly different inclusions such as glitter, dried flowers and natural mica powders.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping:
We offer porch pick-up in Pitt Meadows, BC or shipping through Canada Post. Most items are ready to leave our care in 1-3 days. Custom orders may take longer, but we will be sure to communicate that to you during the initial communication.

Returns:
Each item is handmade and quality checked before shipping. I never ship anything I’m not personally proud of. Variations in colour and small air bubbles are to be expected and we do not accept return items for those reasons.
Our aim is not only that you love your Autumn Fraser sensory set but that you enjoy it so much you want to tell people about it. If upon receiving our product, you aren’t totally happy, please send us a message within 24 hours and we will attempt to remedy the issue with an exchange that makes you smile.

Care Instructions

You should feel confident using our sensory shapes in a variety of messy ways since clean up is as easy as washing with mild soap in warm water.

Safety

None of our products are designed to be put in the mouth and so aren’t appropriate for any children who mouth toys.
There are dimensions listed on each of our products and the majority are appropriate for those ages 3+ because of their small size. There are some sensory sets under the category ‘toddler sensory sets’ that are much larger and therefore not a choking hazard.
