Re-buildable Gingerbread House – A DIY Holiday Experience for Creative Minds!

This holiday season, bring home more than just a toy—bring an unforgettable hands-on learning experience with the Re-buildable Gingerbread House from AutumnFraser.ca. Made from sustainable Canadian bio-based resin, this 6-panel DIY kit includes four walls and two roof panels that children can build and rebuild using materials like tape, air-dry clay, or white tac.

Perfect for children of all ages, this engaging set encourages problem-solving, creativity, and independent learning, making it a standout addition to playrooms, classrooms, and family activities.

Key Benefits of the Build-It-Yourself Design:

  • Hands-on Learning: By constructing their own gingerbread house, kids develop critical cognitive and fine motor skills while exploring concepts like balance, structure, and spatial awareness.
  • Encourages Creativity: Let their imaginations run wild! Children can decorate their houses with craft materials like beads, sequins, paint, or stickers for a personal and festive touch.
  • Promotes Independence: Building and re-building empowers children to make decisions, solve problems, and feel accomplished as they create their very own masterpiece.
  • Reusability for Endless Fun: Unlike traditional gingerbread houses, this durable set can be taken apart, cleaned, and reassembled for countless hours of holiday play.

How to Play:

  1. Build & Rebuild: Use tape, air-dry clay, or white tac to assemble the panels into a sturdy structure.
  2. Decorate: Add creative flair with seasonal decorations like cotton ball snow, glitter, or small figurines.
  3. Imaginative Play: Use the house as part of a winter village scene with peg dolls, animals, or other sensory toys.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping:
We offer porch pick-up in Pitt Meadows, BC or shipping through Canada Post. Most items are ready to leave our care in 1-3 days. Custom orders may take longer, but we will be sure to communicate that to you during the initial communication.

Returns:
Each item is handmade and quality checked before shipping. I never ship anything I’m not personally proud of. Variations in colour and small air bubbles are to be expected and we do not accept return items for those reasons.

Care Instructions

You should feel confident using our sensory shapes in a variety of messy ways since clean up is as easy as washing with mild soap in warm water.

Safety

None of our products are designed to be put in the mouth and so aren’t appropriate for any children who mouth toys.
There are dimensions listed on each of our products and the majority are appropriate for those ages 3+ because of their small size. There are some sensory sets under the category ‘toddler sensory sets’ that are much larger and therefore not a choking hazard.
